Slovakia's economic climate changed over the past 5-6 years, and in the short term will only improve. While unrestrained and exuberant privatization took place in the past, a new phase of economic development - with emphasis on small and medium-sized businesses appeared, as well as directed on the creation and development of major infrastructure projects and new ideas in investing.

Stage of privatization has contributed a large number of foreign firms in the country, which promoted the formation of a stable base for the next stage of economic development.

Problems, of course, exist, nevertheless, the progress achieved in this small country in recent years is undeniable, and will continue. It's no secret that the best way to invest in emerging economies, where the risks are still minimal.

Slovakia currently has the fastest growing economy in Central Europe. Tax reform, highly skilled workforce and state incentives countries have established so-called "paradise for investors", attracting world-famous companies such as Peugeot-Citroen, Hyundai, Kia Motors, Ford Motors, Volkswagen, Dell Computer Corporation, IBM, Lenovo, Sony, Samsung, US Steel, Tesco Stores SR.

If we talk about figures, the volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) increased from $ 2 billion to $ 14 billion since 1999.

The main foreign investors in Slovakia are companies from Germany, Austria, Netherlands, USA, UK, Czech Republic, Italy, especially in the manufacturing industry (automobiles), electronics, financial services, telecommunications, precision engineering, utilities.

The level of trust from foreign investors is very high, although in the current situation of the world crisis and declined. Over 90% of current foreign investors in Slovakia are planning further expansion in the country. Other companies are willing to follow this example of expanding or relocating  the Central European activities in Slovakia, with a view to reducing costs and finding new markets. As one example of such a decision is the Kia, which has chosen Slovakia, not Poland, as its European production base, after the success of already established  Volkswagen and Peugeot-Citroen.

At the end we can make one indisputable conclusion - Slovakia currently provides for a foreign-investors very good conditions for business development in different directions: from the sale of flowers to the production of automobiles and construction. Primarily interested in it the Slovak Government, in the second terms - the inhabitants of Slovakia, which in their general mass are formed by active people, in the third - why not to invest in such a mentaly similar Slavic country, where it is easier to navigate in a culture of doing business ...

It remains only not to miss the opportunity of successful investment!
